"I had a set of these dishes from a while ago and absolutely loved them. I added replacements and extras to my wedding registry and the difference in quality is drastic. The colors are not even close, the plates are slightly smaller and flatter and the details on the edges are not nearly as clear. Extremely disappointing if you’re trying to add to your set. Top plate is the original and the bottom is new."
"I ordered Italian Countryside replacement salad plates and dinner plates directly from Mikasa. Received the order promptly and it was packaged extremely well. The plates were an exact match to my older ones. I had read some reviews where customers said that the plates were more of a beige color but, from other reports I read, these customers may not have ordered directly from Mikasa. Order directly and you should have no problem!"
"I like the dishes. I bought as replacements because my others were chipped from the dishwasher blade. They are so large, which is nice for food on the plate, but too tall for my dishwasher. So I’ve learned to lean them over so the blade doesn’t chip them again."
