"I am submitting this review as an overall review for my Jade dinnerware set. I ordered two 20 piece sets. I received my order in 7 to 10 days as promised and everything was packed tight and not damaged. The dishes are lovely; seem sturdy and I love the bowls as they are great for ceral; soup or pasta. However; five dishes had very noticeable defective glaze/paint where the glaze was bumpy which could chip off or the paint seemed to be missing and was galzed over. Mikasa sent replacements straight away however I did not receive all of the correct replacements pieces. Going back and forth is tiresome and time consuming for me so I will live with two flawed dishes."
Nice looking, but weak
"This is a beautiful set and we have enjoyed it. However, it is not very durable. In the 4. 5 years we've had it, we have broken so many pieces and bought replacement plates, cups, bowls, here and elsewhere. This stoneware will break or chip with the slightest impact. We are just two grown up people and we treat our dinner ware with normal care. Now I have a dinner plate that is cracking and a coffee mug with the edge crumbling. The finishes are all very dull as well. Plus, when I bought the set in the beginning, the bases were so rough and spurred that I had to polish them with a ceramic file before I could let them on my table or counter. This is not what I think of when I am buying stoneware. It should be more durable. In contrast, my "everyday" Mikasa china is still going strong after 25 years."

"Very happy with this set. They arrived in a timely manner & none were broken. Some of the pieces, especially smaller plates & mugs, do not show the jade color as much as the serving pieces, larger plates & soup bowls. But that isn’t an issue for me. Also most pieces did not have gold coloring around the rims as it looked in photos on the website. But again, that wasn’t an issue for me. Decided to purchase a second platter just to have on hand for more serving options."
